Misty & Paul’s wedding… what a beautiful beautiful day. Its always such a joy and privileged to share in one of the most enchanting days of a couples life. So much emotion, so much happiness, so much warmth. Misty and Paul’s love honestly made me smile. They’re ‘total gems, two of the sweetest people you could hope to meet.
The ceremony was held at Len Wort Park at Tugun and they were married by the inspiring Clarah Luxford. Clarah is such a considerate, gorgeous person, its always such a pleasure to work with her. Plus I think just about every single ceremony I’ve seen her officiate has melted my heart. Amazing.
Then we headed around Tweed/Cooly for some pretty bridal party photos. They had the cutest old Holdens! One was restored by Paul’s dad just in time for their big day and the other was hired from Daniel Hall who just so happened to live down my street when growing up. Tweed is a very small world.
Here is a sneak…

Misy & Paul’s mini Dachshund Bangers, was their page boy – AWWWW!!!!

You can check out a SLIDESHOW of the day HERE if you like.
Thanks again guys xo

We had a weekend full of sessions last weekend, starting with Emma & Edwin’s e-session on Friday. These guys are just gorgeous and so sweet – our job was made super easy.
This was actually the first time we met in person because these guys live in Sydney and have chosen to tie the knot at Kingscliff – lovely choice!
Thought i’d make mention because this happens quite often, especially for destination weddings! Many times we haven’t even met the bride and groom until the big day! It always kinda feels like we know each other anyway from the many emails/phone calls in the planning process, so it’s almost like finally meeting your grade 3 pen pal.
We LOVE destination weddings so if you’re looking for a wedding photographer but your wedding isn’t around our usual stomping ground, feel free to contact us, we’d love to hear from you too!

again I was blessed with a lovely surprise with Emma bringing a stash of pretties from her Nan’s. Gotta love Nan’s.

This quilt was HAND SEWN by Emma’s nan. She still remembers her nan sewing it all together when she was a little girl… golden.

Wow – we had a beautiful wedding last weekend and Im almost ready to post the sneak peek, will be here tomorrow! BUT, in the mean time I thought I’d share the a few lovelies from our recent polaroid crush. Ugh. Its simply lust worthy. So instant, so cute, so simple.
Its the object of our affection at the moment… but with only one tiny little camera to share between two excited photographers, it reminds me how much it sucks to share sometimes. Both of us want to hold it, use its precious – rationed -film and dare i say, we even get a little anxious watching the other change film. So we cant wait to grow the collection!
Apart from both of us dying to get our hand on a Polaroid since forEVER, we also added this little baby to the collection for a few cute and adorable new products we will be launching VERY SOON! Can’t wait to fill you in!

Last week we caught up with the gorgeous Maggie and Simon for an e-session at The Powerhouse. Yep, i totally adore that place. Such a pretty little spot. So Maggie is from the US, Simon is a Brisbanite, and they met in Melbourne. SO, they’ve decided to tie the knot in Maggie’s home town Chicago. Sounds like it’s going to be a perfect day!
